It seems hard to believe that we’re almost at the end of 2022 already – and what a ‘quacker’ of a year it’s been – in so many ways.

Here at AE, we honestly couldn’t have wished for a more productive year – particularly when we consider that the country (and the world!) were emerging from two years of unprecedented disruption.

In addition to an increasing amount of incoming work from existing clients (with a retention rate at over 95%!!), we’ve acquired lots of new clients too, ranging across a variety of industries from technology and hospitality to professional services and even military defence! These have undoubtedly contributed to AE’s incredible growth over the past year.

The majority of our new events work has been gained through either recommendations or first-hand experience of our events. This is very pleasing to see and actively shows that people are recognising the quality and effectiveness of our service delivery and want to work with a solid and reliable partner whom they can trust . After all, our mission is that “every project should lead to another”.

So what exactly have we been up to in 2022? Well, our highlights in the next article go in to more detail on this, but in a nutshell, we have literally been globetrotting!!!

Our work has taken us from London to Liverpool and France to Egypt – where we were

fortunate enough to manage the construction of a replica of the earth, designed by budding artist, Luke Jerram, on behalf of a client at COP27. Featured in online and printed media all over the world, this globe has literally become ‘the face’ of this year’s international sustainability conference.

We have also delivered events in some of the most amazing venues: St Pauls Cathedral, Belvoir Castle, Goodwood, Lloyds of London, Queen’s Tennis Club, Excel London, Liverpool Docklands and Westminster Abbey, to name but a few! And our branding, marketing and media work - which really took off during lockdown - has kept on an upward trajectory with some quite unique - and certainly very interesting projects. So, all in all, we’re going from strength to strength in all areas of the business.

We’re thankful as ever to be working alongside many like-minded clients and we are excited for what 2023 might bring. But as 2022 draws to a close, our hard-working team are looking forward to a well-earned break to recharge their batteries – and on this note, our festive opening hours are shown below.

All that remains for me do is wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Bring on 2023!
