Alister de Ternant, Managing Director of Associate Events

I am extremely proud to be able to share news about what’s happening at Associate Events via our new-look circular.

Last year alone our amazing team facilitated 300+ events, delivered to a circulation of 300M+ people and accommodated more than 30,000 people at our events.

Since we moved our head office to Friars Mill (Leicester) in 2017, we have gone from strength to strength, drawing in new clients, contracts and partnerships from across the UK and beyond. Despite the economic uncertainty, business is continuing to flourish and that is because our great spread of clients are continuing to positively recommend Associate Events.

Astonishingly, we have a 97% retention rate on our clients, and I believe this is because we aim to build strong long-term partnerships with every organisation that we work with and we always endeavour to deliver consistent, reliable ‘show stopping’ creative services of the highest quality and value – with integrity and honesty.

As ever, a quick thank you to all of our clients, partners, stakeholders and friends, who continue to support us in our exciting growth and endeavours.

For now, enjoy our new-look circular and remember - even if you just want to chat an idea through, all you need do is get in touch - we are always here.

Pastures New

We are delighted to have secured several new events, production, pr and brand management contracts over Q3.

In our line of work, it is a shame that we cannot share many of these exciting opportunities with you, but to give you a flavour of our secured Q3 contracts we will be delivering; a complete national re-brand; management of an internationally recognised blue-chip’s PR and three corporate launches, to name but a few!

In early 2019, AE supported Team Leicester at MIPIM in their venture to place the region as one of the UK’S core hotspots for Inward Investment. On the back of our success there, AE is delighted to announce we have secured a suite of cultivation, brand and corporate events and clients that we will be supporting at MIPIM 2020, the property exhibition in Cannes – we may even be able to spend a little time on a few super yachts whilst we are there too!

There’s a whole host of other exciting news bubbling away in the background and we hope to be in a position to share more with you next time.

Demonstrating Our Values

We are delighted to be working with Menphys - an admirable charity that supports children and young people with disabilities in Leicestershire. We are helping to strengthen the Charity’s brand and local presence along with completely re-developing and streamlining their website.

Our people

Our team is expanding - rapidly!

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Morris (formerly of EHL Law) two took up the post of Operations and Partnerships Director in mid-August as Associate Events moves into the next iteration of development. Asha De Graff joined us through De Montfort University’s ‘Frontrunner scheme’ on 2 September to help with social media, marketing and PR.

We’re growing, and always recruiting. We want to hear from inspiring, professional, motivated and creative people. Please get in touch if that’s you!

Looking ahead…

Later this week we are at Goodwood Revival supporting a number of our clients with their bespoke events – an enjoyable client cultivation, staged in period theme that recreates the romance and glamour of motor racing as it used to be. It is great fun, so keep your eye out for the team getting all dressed up on Social Media.

The team are also busy gearing up for two of our business festivals that we run annually. The Leicester Business Festival which starts on 28 October is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year with Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival commencing on the 11thNovember.

Between now and Christmas we have more than 200 events to deliver – so the team are focused on the annual AE Christmas Gin Party already.

And let’s get creative
