Associate Events is growing fast. We’re looking to expand our Sales Team by recruiting an experienced Sales Manager to work on behalf of one of our amazing venue clients.
If you’ve got five or more years’ experience, a proven track record of selling unique venues whilst delivering excellent customer service, then we want to hear from you.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, target-driven and an expert in generating income and maximising revenue and margins from both venue hire and ancillary products and services.
They will also have extensive knowledge of the London events industry and the ability to identify new, income-generating trends.

Responsibilities:
Full accountability for the entire venue sales process, from answering incoming enquiries (phone/email/social) to closing and contracting bookings.
Create and send competitive proposals and chase clients for feedback to ensure the venue is capitalising on every single enquiry.
Excellent understanding of the venue’s sales budget in order to achieve and exceed personal targets.
Upsell suppliers for ancillary quotes for things such as catering, tech, production etc to ensure maximum revenue for the venue.
Key account management of existing clients to maintain and generate repeat business (repeat business should represent at least 60% of the pipeline).
Establish key relationships with corporate and agency clients to ensure maximum exposure and increased enquiries.
Execute client show rounds – virtual or in-person ensuring a smooth handover process to the operations team.
Secure and process event contracts.
Develop a fundamental understanding of the venue's operational restrictions.
Manage hand-over process to operations team and understand contractual terms between supply chain and venue.
Identify new income-generating trends e.g. hybrid events, filming etc.
Person type:
A seasoned event sales manager with at least 5 years experience working in high-profile venues, whilst delivering high standards of customer service.
A proven track record of generating income and maximising revenue and margin from venue hire and ancillary products/services.
Well known in the events industry with existing corporate, agency and supplier contacts.
Highly motivated, target driven and determined to maximise every enquiry.
Extensive knowledge of the London events industry.
An innovative approach to revenue generation, for example identifying new trends that the venue can capitalise on.
